Finally, goddamit! Michigan is just a little bit closer to being the "comeback state" our governor says it is because now you can get gay-married here. A U.S. District Judge has struck down the state's ban on same-sex marriage, declaring it unconstitutional.
Michigan is now the 18th state in the union to strike down bans on same-sex marriage. The ruling comes as a result of a challenge from Apryl DeBoer and Jayne Rowse, a lesbian couple pictured above, to recognize their children's adoption.
